(Yesterday’s) entry has been plastered with links. Most of them speed you off to Wikipedia for one reason or another. I know how people can dislike links in text but none of them give you any mouse-over pop-up shit (I guess they do. UGH) (NOT ANYMORE PWNT). And the Bananaphone one is pretty funny.

I get a short night tonight, as I have work at 8AM. I’ve always hated morning shifts, and I always will. I’ll never forgive them…for the death of my sleep.

(No one knows what that’s from, do they?)

Having two computers, a desktop and a laptop, is nice, because I can use one as normal and have the other one to play with. In my case, my desktop is my backup quarterback computer and, up until a few hours ago, was running Ubuntu, which is a nice Linux distro but, as usual, it doesn’t do something I like to have (in this case, proper use of my video card for gaming, duh). My laptop plays games OK, but my desktop is more powerful and I think it’s wasted on a non-Windows OS. So I’m installing Windows 2000 and hoping that everything works as intended. Gotta get my Team Fortress 2 fix before it goes out of beta and without having to worry about it crashing.

The only bad part is I finished ripping all my music to FLAC on there (I have 750GB of space to play with, plus another 80GB I didn’t have connected) and while it’s not such a hassle to re-rip it all, I just wish I had thought more about what I was doing with the computer. Having experience in Linux is always nice, as it would be with any operating system, but until Linux perfectly inter-operates with my hardware, I’ll stick with Windows. (For now. Check back in a few years.)
