The "breaking the law" aspect of the NFS series is a major part of what has made it so popular over the years. Going back to the Hot Pursuit days, the most beloved games have been ones where the focus has been on eluding police and/or taking the role of the police. The way I would see it working in my concept is that the more demanding the goal, the bigger risks you're expected to take, and the more likely you are to run afoul of the law. Like driving from Newark to Boston in 5 hours during rush hour. Or something similar. You have to make a challenge out of it. Just having to drive without worrying about your speed isn't entertaining or challenging to me.

Wow iv'e read the first three paragraphs and it sounds incredibly awesome. To be honest iv'e thought of a game like that. Where you can be in your own city and such. That would be so perfect. The only thing i wouldnt like is the whole police aspect. Where you have to obey the law, yet try to accomplish such goals that would be breaking the law normally. I dont think so much people would go for something like that. But you sum it up in the best way by the mmordg part. To be able to free roam, race from your friends house to yours and back, things like that "turn people on" so to say. I Love your whole aspect on this game.

I own && played every single NFS series out there. Loved All Of Them Dispite certain downfalls. I would love to help you on certain ideas && information regarding anything. Comment back with your email.
